Dawood’s nephew gets married in Mumbai, cops keep a close watch
Underworld don Dawood Ibrahim’s nephew on Wednesday married the daughter of a Mumbai-based businessman in a traditional Muslim ceremony, with Mumbai police keeping a close watch on the event.

Alishah Parkar, son of Dawood’s late sister Haseena Parkar, and Ayesha Nagani got married at a mosque in Nagpada area of south Mumbai.
A handful of journalists and photographers were present outside the mosque. Media was not invited for the event.

Rituals started at around 11 am and lasted for about 1 1/2 hours. The ceremony was attended by around 100 close friends and relatives of the couple.
A reception is planned at a city hotel on Wednesday evening and it is reported that Dawood is likely to see the event via Skype.
Police personnel will closely monitor the proceedings, a senior official said.
Alishah’s elder brother Danish had died in a road accident in 2006. His sister Umaira got married in May 2015.
