Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation in the 46th Mann ki Baat programme.
He paid tributes to poet Gopaldas Neeraj and freedom fighters Lokmanya Tilak and Chandrashekhar Azad.
The Prime Minster also spoke on the rescue efforts to save 12 young boys who were trapped inside a cave in Thailand and said through the exercise one can learn about patience, bravery and organisation.
