Since November 08, the day when Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the demonetisation of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes, the debate on high-value currency has taken centre stage. While some praised the move for it being a step to curb black money in the country, the Opposition came out all guns blazing at the Modi-led government.
