25 hurt as bus rolls down hill

The students, accompanied by a teacher, had gone to a hill resort, 50 km from Chandigarh, for a day trip.

At least 25 people including 22 children were injured on Saturday evening when their schoolbus rolled down from a hill near Morni hill resort in Haryana.

While all passengers of the bus received minor injuries, one student, Rupesh, was referred to the Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) Chandigarh in a serious condition.

The students of the Anami school in Hallomajra village of this union territory, accompanied by a teacher, had gone to the hill resort, 50 km from Chandigarh, for a day trip.

Most of those injured were discharged after treatment at the Morni dispensary and the general hospital in Panchkula.
