District special judge Navin Kumar Srivastava convicted Chhatrapal, Pawan and Jitendera and will pronounce the sentence on Monday. Four other accused were let off for want of sufficient evidence.

Anant, son of Adobe CEO Naresh Gupta, was kidnapped on November 13, 2006 from outside his house in Sector 15A while he was on his way to take the school bus.
