37 more file nominations

With the filing of 37 papers on the last day of filing of nomination papers on Wednesday, the total number of candidates for 23 posts of Allahabad High Court Bar Association has reached 116. For the post of president, additional chief standing counsel of UP Government Veer Singh filed his nomination on Wednesday. With this, the number of candidates for the post of president has reached four. They include Viresh Mishra, CL Pandey, Sadhna Upadhyaya and Veer Singh.

With the filing of 37 papers on the last day of filing of nomination papers on Wednesday, the total number of candidates for 23 posts of Allahabad High Court Bar Association has reached 116.

For the post of president, additional chief standing counsel of UP Government Veer Singh filed his nomination on Wednesday. With this, the number of candidates for the post of president has reached four. They include Viresh Mishra, CL Pandey, Sadhna Upadhyaya and Veer Singh.

For the post of secretary, former president of Junior Lawyers’ Association Nimai Dass and Rajendra Kumar Pandey filed their nominations today, taking the number of candidates for this post to eight. They include Nimai Dass, Rakesh Pandey, Chandra Narain Tripathi alias Chandoo, Dr CP Upadhayay, Bajrang Bahadur Singh, BD Pandey, Om Subhash Tripathi and Rajendra Kumar Pandey.

Eight candidates filed their nominations for the post of treasurer. They are Rajiv Shukla, Baijant K Mishra, Santosh K Upadhyaya, Himanshu Singh, Ramesh C Tiwari, Lok Nath Shukla, Ram S Yadav and Suresh K Shukla.

For the post of joint secretary (administration), Manoj Kumar Mishra, Anil Kumar Singh, Lokendra Kumar Srivastava, Prabha Shankar Mishra, Rajesh Khare and Mahendra Nath Tripathi filed nominations. Alok Mishra, Santosh Kumar Pandey, Som Narayan Mishra, Acharya Rajesh Tripathi and Ten Singh filed nominations for the post of joint secretary (library), while for the post of joint secretary (press), Shashi Sekhar Tiwari, Sushil Pandey, Shiv K Singh, Aman, Dashrath Prasad and Vinod Kumar Jaisawal filed their papers.

As many as 33 candidates filed their papers for the five posts of vice- president. They include Praveen Shukla, Anuradha Sundaram, Shailendra K Pathak, Dr Hridyawati Mishra, Narendra P Shukla, Akhilesh K Sharma, Shamim Ahmad, Ramesh C Shukla, Ram K Gupta, Mamta Maurya, PC Pathak, Mahendra Singh, Avanindra K Mishra, Gauri S Kesharwani, Manoj K Dwivedi, Akhilesh K Mishra, Pradeep K Sonkar, Mahaveer Verma, Jitendra K Nayak, Raj K Singh Chauhan, RN Ojha, Yashrath, AN Pandey, Om Prakash Sharma, Ram K Malviya, GS Yadav, Shardendu Shukla, Upendra Singh, Vimal Mishra, Vishwa R Dwivedi, Radhey Shyam Shukla, Amarendra Kumar Singh, and Deepak Kumar Srivastava.

Moreover, 45 candidates filed their nomination papers for 12 posts of members of Governing Council.
