Prominent among those who filed their papers included state JD(U) chief Rajeev Ranjan Singh, alias Lalan Singh from Munger and party candidate and Bihar minister of state Vishwamohan Kumar filed the papers for the Supaul Lok Sabha seat, according to information available from the state election office.
Congress nominee Ranjeeta Ranjan, wife of controversial RJD MP from Madhepura Pappu Yadav, too filed her papers for the Supaul seat.
Udai Singh alias Pappu Singh of the BJP from Purnia, Bihar minister Dinesh Chandra Yadav (JD-U) from Khagaria, former Bihar minister and RJD MLA Shakuni Choudhary from Bhagalpur also filed their papers.
