In a major reshuffle, Noida authority chief executive officer (CEO) Sanjeev Saran on Monday transferred 50 officials within different departments. The move is believed to be a part of efforts to increase efficiency and transparency in the execution of public works. “It’s an attempt to get rid of official stagnation and curb corrupt practices among staff at the lower level,” said Sanjeev Saran CEO. Besides, shifting junior engineers, clerks and babus, he has also re-distributed the works for senior officials such as deputy chief executive officers (DCEOs).

Among DCEOs, CB Singh will look after industrial department, DK Singh will deal with housing and VK Yadav will look after village development and issues related to land. Officer on special duty (OSD) Manoj Rai will take care of industrial plot scheme, additional CEO Pramanshu will be responsible for media interaction, and administrative officer (AO) Rajesh Prakash will look after land and health departments.
Moreover, five authority officials, who had been suspended during the Mayawati regime, have also been reinstated.
