Seven persons, accused in two different post-Godhra bomb blast cases in Gujarat's Panchmahal district, were acquitted by a local court due to lack of evidence.

Sessions Court Judge DH Shah hearing both the cases on Thursday acquitted the prime accused Mohammed Hanif Mehmood Ali Saiyed and six others in the Delol bomb blast case.
Three persons were killed and 15 injured when a bomb kept inside the glove box compartment of a motorcycle went off on July 17, 2000 in Delol village, few kms from Godhra town.
These seven persons, mostly belonging to Godhra, were also charged with the bomb explosion at the Godhra bus stand which left 40 people injured on October 15, 2002.
