A total of 861 Pakistanis have returned home after being deported from Oman for illegal entry and working without permits, Xinhua reported on Thursday.
They arrived in the port city of Karachi on Wednesday in two ferries after four days in Omani custody, it quoted Daily Times as saying.
The Pakistani embassy in Muscat and the authorities here negotiated and secured their release.
