It was by sheer luck that the aircraft Cessna-152 did no crash-land on the kerosene depot. A major loss of human life was also averted as the plane crash-landed near a place inhabited by 5 lakh people.

The aircraft first collided with the house of Sanjay Pal who said, “After colliding with the roof of my house luckily the aircraft got entangled with a tree and fell under it.” Reacting to the accident, another eyewitness Ram Sewak said, “The aircraft crash-landed with a big bang creating panic in the area.”
