Gupta opened his show with hunky guys who came strolling out dressed in solid coloured jackets and plaid golf hats and scarves around their necks. He then moved on to structured overcoats in charcoal and black worn with pants in natural fibres.
Working the much abused retro style – a mix of digitally printed tees and easy jodpurs and carpenter pants– the young designer even flirted with an Indo-western look of sorts with kurtas and jeans, all accessorised with white birkenstocks and scarves.
Gupta suffered from a hangover of his own collection last year. One saw several repeats like the graphic tees, jackets and even accessories.

Presenting an interesting menswear collection was young designer Abhishek Gupta. The retro tracks that played in the background went well with the theme of the collection that was called psychedelia.
The collection offered a range of printed shirts with psychedelic prints, coats in suede, wool, corduroy as well as denim. The lengths varied between waist length short ones and knee-length. Also on display were quilted jackets paired with linen pants as well as trousers with safari prints.
Cotton kurtas with patch-work, teamed with short corduroy jackets were admired by the audience. While the collection was primarily in pale grey and brown, shades of orange and red were also used in some tees. The clothes were accessorised with hats, mufflers and shawls wrapped as kaftans.
