The implications of this problem can be very serious for it affects the entire ecosystem and demands urgent attention. An increase in the acidic levels in water bodies will threaten the existence of waterborne creatures, which form an integral part of the diet of a majority of the human population. It is important that environmentalists and leaders in Copenhagen take up the issue seriously and come up with immediate and practical solutions.
