"I gave sent him the copy on Friday. In the new year, the people of Goa would like to see Governor perform his statutory duty of complying with the provision of RTI," Rodrigues said.
Raj Bhavan has offered no comment on the entire episode.
Governor's Special Secretary Dr N Radhakrishnan however, said they will respond at the right time.
Sidhu has been summoned by State Information Commission on January 4 after his office claimed that they do not come under the purview of RTI.
Rodrigues, had sought information under the RTI from Governor about his complaint against Advocate General Subodh Kantak to him. The Governor's office had refused to give information on status of the complaint.
Rodrigues said that Raj Bhavan has officially received the RTI copy which he has sent across to him as a Christmas gift.
