Additional security for passengers in trains: Lalu

The Railway Minister said a new train would be inaugurated from Motihari to Porbandar in Gujarat.

The Railways have enhanced passenger security and would attach additional bogies to trains owing to the Dusshera rush, Union Railway Minister Lalu Prasad said on Thursday.

The Railway Minister said a new train would be inaugurated from Motihari, headquarters of East Champaran district, to Porbandar in Gujarat on October four as a tribute to Mahatma Gandhi who had launched Champaran satyagraha from Motihari against the British rule.
