He said that there might be communal tension on June 2 if Urban Development Minister Mohammad Azam Khan would lay the foundation stone for construction of a new slaughterhouse to be equipped with the latest techniques.
A sum of Rs 9 crore was allocated by the Union Government to set up the slaughterhouse. The issue has united the saffron brigade and they decided to oppose it.
Adityanath handed over a seven-point memorandum to the district magistrate to be forwarded to the Governor of Uttar Pradesh. Blaming the State Government for creating hindrance in the development projects started in eastern UP, he called upon the people to come forward to dislodge the anti-people government.
Adityanath said that state cabinet ministers and criminals were hand in glove. He further said that in last two and a half-year, State Government had continuously ignored eastern UP.
Thus, the people of this region wanted to get rid of this government. In a seven-point memorandum, Adityanath demanded the appointment of professors and lecturers at BRD Medical College to save its recognition. He said the shortage of para-medical staff at medical college and district hospitals should be met out.
