Ajay Joshi, who is tipped to be next Chief Secretary of the state, would be the new Principal Secretary Agriculture, horticulture, fishery and animal husbandry.

Amarendra Sinha, who is holding irrigation department along with sugarcane, has been given additional charge of small irrigation department also.

Similarly, housing and information departments have been taken away from Shatrughn Singh and given to Principal Secretary Subhash Kumar. Bhupinder Kaur would be new additional secretary health while cultural department has been given Radhika Jha. Vinita Kumar has been given the charge of employment and labour.
