“All students seeking admission to FYJC will have to follow the online procedure,” he said. Thus, students will not have to go to individual colleges to submit separate admission forms. Instead, they will be able to apply to up to 150 colleges using a single form.

All students have to do is buy the booklet that will be available with their Class 10 marksheet for Rs 10, log on to http://fyjc.org.in and follow the instructions in the booklet.

After completing the procedure, students have to take two printouts of the form and submit them to the nearest centre – the list of 1,000 centres are in the booklet - with the marksheet, other relevant documents and Rs 125.

Those who don’t have access to a computer can go to their nearest centre, which will have facilities for them to apply online.

“No student in the state will remain without an admission,” Vikhe-Patil said.
