African national held for overstaying in India
An African national, who reportedly played for a Goan team, was arrested in Kasaragod in Kerela for staying in the country even after his visa term expired more than two months back, police said on Saturday.

An African national, who reportedly played for a Goan team, was arrested in Kasaragod in Kerela for staying in the country even after his visa term expired more than two months back, police said on Saturday.
Fofano Lamine Lambanji Ratano Konaki, holds the passport of the Republic De Guinee and was arrested from a lodge on Friday, police said.
He was staying with a visa which had expired on October 10 while his accomplice Lama Florent had valid documents, they said.
A suo moto case has been registered against him under the provisions of Foreign Act 1960 and Passport Act, police added.
