After Jaipur, UP Police receives SMS threat

Just hours after the serial blasts in Jaipur, UP DGP received two SMSes threatening to blow up the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited offices in Lucknow.

Uttar Pradesh Director General of Police Vikram Singh received two SMSes threatening to blow up the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) installation in Lucknow, hours after the devastating serial blasts in Jaipur.

"The DGP received SMSes on May 13 after the serial blasts in Jaipur threatening blasts in HAL, Lucknow," Additional Director General, Law and Order Brijlal told PTI in Lucknow on Thursday.

He said the Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) and Special Task Force officers of the police were probing the matter.

"Though we have not taken the SMSes seriously, security has been beefed up at HAL", Brijlal said.
