AI flight reports hydraulic failure; lands safely in Mumbai

A Mumbai-bound Air India flight from Ahmedabad, with 137 passengers onboard, landed safely in emergency conditions in Mumbai on Tuesday night following a hydraulic failure.
A Mumbai-bound Air India flight from Ahmedabad, with 137 passengers onboard, landed safely in emergency conditions in Mumbai on Tuesday night following a hydraulic failure.
"A full emergency was declared for flight number IC685 AMD/BOM A320 due to hydraulic failure. However, the flight landed safely at 2049 hours following which the emergency was withdrawn," a Mumbai International Airport Limited spokesperson said.

No one was injured in the incident, the spokesperson said, adding operations were running smoothly at the airport.
