Air India has three flights a week to the Indian capital via Doha and Mumbai, which were suspended since January 7 due to operational constraints, the airline said. However, according to sources it was because of shortage of pilots, the Gulf Daily News reported.
Meanwhile, Air India Bahrain and Jordan Area Manager, Meenakshi Mallik said the problems have been resolved.
"We are very happy with the resumption of flights since we have been doing well on the sector. All airlines have some constraints from time to time, but we can say these have been now sorted out," Mallik said.
The flights, via Doha and Mumbai, will depart from Bahrain at 3:30 pm every Monday, Thursday and Saturday.
