The Airtel 'Onaghosham' recharge and win contest ran for a month from July 25, which saw participation from nearly 1.5 million customers.

Lucky participants were picked through a random application and were invited to take home their prizes including the much-coveted Nissan Micra car, which was won by Yasser Arafat.

Handing over the key of the new Micra to the winner, Rajiv Rajagopal, CEO, Kerala and Tamil Nadu Mobile Services said the 'Onaghosham' contest witnessed enthusiastic response from the customers in the region.

Three lucky winners won 100 gram gold coins and 20 contestants won 10 gram gold coins each, a press release in Kochi said.
