They took out a procession on the University campus and held a meeting in front of the enquiry counter.

Addressing the meeting, state AISA president Ramayan Ram alleged that the funds provided to the university by the University Grants Commission (UGC) were not been utilised for the welfare of the students and those occupying the high posts in administration were misusing the money.

AISA’s AU unit chief Prem Shankar Singh said that the university was backtracking from its social responsibility to provide higher education to the students. He said that the move to cut seats would be opposed tooth and nail.

The meeting was also addressed by Kranti Bodh, Deepak Singh, Sunil Maurya, Umesh Chandra and Sandhya.
