The Haryana police will soon open ‘police public schools’ in all district headquarters across the state.

Presently, there are six police public schools in the state. They are at Madhuban, Panipat, Ambala, Hisar, Kurukshetra and Bhondsi. They are being run by the police department. Similar schools are under-construction at Sunaria and Rewari.
Besides, the state government has approved R75 crore for the construction of around 500 houses for police personnel in Gurgaon, Faridabad and Sonipat. The houses would be constructed under various categories, DGP RS Dalal said on Thursday.
