Allahabad Bank Q3 net up 41%

Allahabad Bank reported a 40.84% rise in net profit at Rs 224.30 cr for the quarter ended Dec 31, 2005.

Allahabad Bank on Tuesday reported a 40.84 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 224.30 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2005 as compared to Rs 159.25 crore for the same quarter in 2004-05.

Total income has increased by 22 per cent to Rs 1095.58 crore for the third quarter of the current fiscal from Rs 897.79 crore in the year-ago period, the bank informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
