Friends star Jennifer Aniston was too high-maintenance and ambitious for her ex-fiance Tate Donovan. Donovan had dated the actress, who is now married to Brad Pitt, between 1995 and 1998 and admits the pair were totally different people.

"She likes top-notch hotels and luxury, I like bed, breakfasts and riding my bike. That’s the most shallow version of it, but it’s indicative of our personalities."

Donovan, who since dated Sandra Bullock, admits that the break-up was "really, really painful." The lovelorn actor has been struggling to find romance ever since he split from Aniston – and even went to a high school reunion in the hope of finding true love, but all the women were married!
