Anjali wins table tennis singles title

ANJALI CHOUHAN won the girls’ singles title in the first table tennis tournament organised by Indore Table Tennis Association at Siddharth Sports Academy.

Anjali defeated Ketaki Joshi by 11-6, 11-7 and 11-7 in the final to win the junior girls’ title. In the sub junior boys final, Shubh Choudhri defeated Janak Bajaj by 11-8, 8-11, 11-7 and 11-8 to win the title. In the sub junior girls final, Riya Dathe beat Jayamla Ingle by 11-7,8-11, 11-9, and 11-7 to win the title.

Cricket camp begins
ANNUAL SUMMER cricket coaching camp organised by Khanuja Cricket Club began at Swamy Vivekananda Higher Secondary School recently. Corporator Chandu Shindhe inaugurated the camp. Indore Divisional Cricket Association president and Cricket Stadium construction committee co chairman Shravan Gupta presided over the function.

The coaches of the camp welcomed the guests. Players, who perform well during the camp, would be selected for under 13-cricket team that would play in the Paramjeet Pathania Memorial Cricket Tournament organised by the club.

Summer camp
RAMESH AND Ramesh Sports Club will organise summer coaching camp in various disciplines from May 1. Coaching will be provided in table tennis, badminton, skating, yoga, acrobatics, and martial arts. Coaching will be held in two sessions—morning from 7 to 9 and evening 5 to 7.

Handball coaching
SUMMER HANDBALL coaching camp organised by Madhya Pradesh Handball Association will begin on May 1 at Nehru Stadium. The coaching would be held from 5 pm to 7-30 pm.

Interested players to take part in the coaching camp may contact Chandu Mishra at the stadium premises between 5 pm to 7 pm tomorrow.
