DEPARTMENT OF Information Technology has invited applications from all the government and private recognised schools for the 4th Computer Literacy Excellence Awards Scheme for Schools 2005.

All government and private schools teaching computer and information technology in their schools are eligible to apply for the award. The award would be presented at national and State-level by the President of India. Applications made in prescribed proforma should be submitted to Secretary IT/ Commissioner IT of respective states or Union Territories.

The selected nomination from each state would be forwarded to Department of IT, Ministry of Communications and IT, for selection of national award winner.

The details of proforma can be obtained from www.mit.gov.in. Last date for submission of applications is February 15.
