All insurgent groups should shun violence and come to the negotiating table to resolve their greivances, GOC Lt Gen N K Singh said on the occasion of the raising day of Army's 3 Corps in Guwahati.

"The highly enlightened people of the North East should work for building peace and prosperity along with the great strides being made by the rest of the world," he said.
