Security forces on Saturday busted a terrorist hideout in Marmat area of Doda district and recovered 52-kgs of explosives.

"On specific inputs, the Army launched a major cordon and search operation in Daraj forest belt of Marmat in Doda district on Saturday afternoon," said Colonel DK Badola, media head, 16 Corps.
Fifty-two kgs of explosives were recovered from the place, he said, adding that terrorists were using it to make IEDs to target security forces and civilians in Doda district.
The recovered explosive has been sent for chemical testing to know its variety, he said.
