ASHA NIKETAN School on Tuesday won the Youth Harmony Cricket Tournament trophy here defeating KPRP Brothers by five wickets.

After winning the toss, Asha Niketan invited the opponents to bat first. The batsmen of KPRP Brothers failed apply themselves against the good bowling by Asha Niketan boys. The team was bundled out for 103 runs in 15 overs. Chasing the target, Asha Niketan boys capitalised upon the fielding errors and wayward bowling attack and reached the target in 14 overs losing five wickets.
Chief guest of the prize distribution ceremony, Prasant SVD, distributed awards to the winning team. Sumit was adjudged winner of ‘man of the final match’ trophy.
On the occasion, Ignatitus T SVD, Principal of St Joseph’s Co-Ed School Maria Stephen, the Rector of KPRP Xavier T SVD, and Peter Lassrado were present.
