The success story of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has charmed students from the world's top business schools.

Students from leading universities in the United States like Harvard, Stanford, Wharton and the John F Kennedy School of Government are using their study trips to India to gain valuable management tips from the DMRC.

They have been inspired by the DMRC's efficiency which has led to the completion of the project on time.

Thirty-six students from the Wharton School under the University of Pennsylvania visited the Delhi Metro last week to learn how a world class transport system had been constructed in a congested city like Delhi.

The DMRC informed the students about its philosophy — time is money — and its work ethics based on punctuality, commitment and competence.
