Ban on movement of vehicles on Mall road

District magistrate Madan Chauhan on Friday imposed a ban on the movement of all kinds of vehicular traffic on the Mall road between the deputy commissioner's office chowk and the old bus stand to facilitate the people visiting the district headquarters for routine shopping in the markets during Diwali.

District magistrate Madan Chauhan on Friday imposed a ban on the movement of all kinds of vehicular traffic on the Mall road between the deputy commissioner's office chowk and the old bus stand to facilitate the people visiting the district headquarters for routine shopping in the markets during Diwali.

The district magistrate while exercising his powers on Friday banned the movement of traffic from 3pm to 9pm on Saturday while from 11am to 8 pm on Sunday. Vehicles of fire, ambulance, police, army and engaged to maintain law and order have been exempted in the order.
