It is wonderful that you now have individuals who are true to their creativity and passion. With original ideas and stories you expose the audience to different views without preaching to the choir. Therefore you can imagine my amazement in reading this actor's comments. Many cultures believe that America wants to convert the world to its way of thinking but here I see someone who "prefers to stick to his conviction and culture...".
I did not understand why these movies were not like the regular movies or why a lot of the movies mirror some of the popular storylines from the west. It is wonderful that you now have individuals being true to their creativity and passion. With original ideas and stories you expose the audience to different views without preaching to the choir.
Therefore you can imagine my amazement in reading this actor's comments. Many cultures believe that America wants to convert the world to its way of thinking but here in this one article I see someone who "prefers to stick to his conviction and culture..." yet he is not going about it in a manner that hurt other individuals or force them to his way of thinking. Is this where the east meets the west? This is certainly a reflection of our beliefs where you make no apologies about your beliefs or culture and have the freedom to be creative!
With this actor expressing his views it should encourage others to do the same. Make no apologies about your culture, your beliefs or your movies. Such comments should be applauded.
