They may have puffed cigarettes everyday during their hay-days, but fans of the legendary British rock band The Beatles will not be seeing them with their cigs on the cover of a classic album re-release, for that has been airbrushed out by health-conscious EMI record company bosses.

According to The Sun, the original photograph taken in 1964 showed band members John Lennon, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr smoking.

However, not only does the new cover not only show them without their cigarettes, but it has also gotten rid of Ringo Starr’s two fingers that were holding his smoke.
