Bhandarkar finds his hero for Fashion

Model-turned-actor Arjan Bajwa has been roped in to play the lead opposite Priyanka Chopra in Madhur Bhandarkar's Fashion.

Madhur Bhandarkar’s much-talked about project on the fashion industry, Fashion, has a new entrant. Model-turned-actor Arjan Bajwa has been roped in to play the lead opposite Priyanka Chopra .

Bajwa confirms, “Yes, that’s true. Madhur sir and I met through one of our common acquaintances. He had shown Madhur sir my portfolios from Guru, Gulal and some from my modeling days. Madhur sir called me and said ‘You’re on.’ We have started working from December 19.”

It is believed that model-turned- actors Muzammil Ibrahim and Rajneesh Duggal have turned down the offer. Bajwa states, “Madhur sir told me before we started working that he had auditioned at least 60 boys for the role. So, I’m not worried about who was approached and who wasn’t.”

Apparently, the role is a cameo. Bajwa cuts in, “No, it’s a full-length role of the hero.”
