Big B's mother admitted to Lilavati Hospital

Teji Bachchan, who is in her late eighties, was brought to the hospital by Amitabh and Jaya.

Teji Bachchan, mother of megastar Amitabh Bachchan, was admitted to Lilavati Hospital on Saturday afternoon.

Teji Bachchan, who is in her late eighties, was brought to the hospital by Amitabh and Jaya.

Hospital spokesperson Vaishali Rajpara said, "Teji Bachchan has been admitted for a routine check up. Doctors are conducting medical tests. We cannot comment any thing more than this".

Amitabh Bachchan is presently in Mumbai shooting for Ravi Chopra's Babul at Filmistan studio in Goregaon, North Mumbai.
