A high-altitude semi-arid region that spans a quarter of Himachal Pradesh's area makes up just one assembly constituency, and has the least number of voters.

Lahaul and Spiti, a sparsely populated tribal region, has only 21,255 electors, the lowest number of voters in any of the state's 68 constituencies.

The Lahaul and Spiti assembly segment has some of the highest polling booths in the country. Most of the habitations are above 10,000 feet while a few are over the 15,000 feet mark.
