Bihar court convicts former RJD MLA

A Bihar court on Tuesday convicted a former RJD MLA Nausadul Navi alias Pappu Khan and two others in connection with a murder case in this district headquarter town of Bihar's Nalanda district.

A fast-track court judge B N Yadav found Pappu Khan, Gulrej and Gulfam guilty of killing one Mohammed Monabar at Chajju Mohalla in the town on October 16, 2005.

The court fixed March 30 to decide the quantum of punishment for the convicts.

Pappu Khan was RJD MLA from Biharsharif constituency between 1999 and 2004.
