Unassailable lead for Gauri
Overnight leader Gauri Monga continued to be on a roll on Wednesday, as she brought in her second consecutive sub-par round, a five-under 67, to take an almost unbeatable 11-stroke lead on the penultimate day of the inaugural Delhi Golf Club Ladies Open Championship.
Vani Kapoor had an off-day and could do no better than a three-over par 75 for a total of 146 as against Gauri's 135. Shreya Ghei could not improve on her 76 of Tuesday and shot a similar score. Unless these two young golfers, along with Shraddhanjali Singh who scored her second consecutive 77, perform a miracle on the morrow, it looks like plain sailing for Gauri.
St Gregorios, Amity in quarters

In the other match, Amity, Pushp Vihar, beat CRPF Dwarka 4-0, with Eshan Malhotra scoring two goals and Deepanshu and Aditya netting one each. Quarterfinals will be played on November 11 and 12.
