Birth anniv of Hazrat Ali celebrated with fanfare
VARIOUS PROGRAMMES were organised here to mark the birth anniversary of the fourth Khalifa Hazrat Ali in the city. Anjuman Husainia Gorakhpur organised a seminar to highlight the teachings of Hazrat Ali and recalled that Prophet Mohammad had termed Hazrat Ali as the entrance gate of the city of knowledge. Expressing his views on this occasion, advocate Mohammad Mehdi focused on the services of Hazrat Ali for spreading the message of Islam .

Expressing his views on this occasion, advocate Mohammad Mehdi focused on the services of Hazrat Ali for spreading the message of Islam and said Ali was not only the first scientist of Islam but he had resolved various disputes in distribution of ancestors’ properties to their relatives.
Mehdi said when Ali was nominated as Khalifa, the Islamic world was facing rough weather. There was conspiracy against Islam and Hazrat Ali not only controlled it but sacrificed his two sons to maintain the dignity and originality of Islamic spirit.
Hallaur Association organised a programme in which poets expressed their sentiment regarding Hazrat Ali. Anjuman Husainia also organised a programme at Imambara Agha Saheban near Gita Press. Notes scholar Maulana Shabeeh Azmi, Rashid Siddiqui and others threw light on the teachings of Hazrat Ali.
They said Ali was the closest to Prophet Mohammad who remained with the Prophet in difficult times and organised the first meeting in Mecca to spread the message of Islam.
