Bisht dropped for KOs

Nehra, who is still on the road to recovery from his ankle surgeries, might finally play in these one-dayers.

DELHI HAVE dropped wicketkeeper Puneet Bisht and fast bowler Parwinder Awana for the Vijay Hazare knock out one dayers.

Bisht, who has had a bad season with the bat and an iffy one with the gloves, has made way for Pradeep Chawla, while Awana sees his place taken by the returning Pradeep Sangwan. The other India u-19 player, Virat Kohli, also returns to the team.

Meanwhile, the selectors also decided to keep Ashish Nehra in the team. Nehra, who is still on the road to recovery from his ankle surgeries, might finally play in these one-dayers.

Delhi begin their campaign against Bengal on April 2.
