BIZZ BUZZ | BoI centenary celebration

THE 100th YEAR celebration of Bank of India was held at Navrang Vatika, Bijalpur square yesterday. The families of Bank of India employees of Indore and Dhar participated in the programme. The children played tambola, presented dances and songs and participated in the knockout competitions.

Bank zonal manager R C Khurana, assistant general manager M K Gandhi, chief manager J K Bhargav and Gautam Sinha (Palasia branch) presented prizes to the children who participated in the programme. Different branches of the Bank were awarded for their excellence in work. R C Khurana proposed the vote of thanks.

SISI’s computer training from Feb 15

SMALL INDUSTRIES Service Institute (SISI) would organise a month-long training programme on ‘Computer Software and Hardware’ from February 15. The trainees would be given both theoretical and practical knowledge of computers. The admission would be given on first come first serve basis.

Airtel launches ‘Kaun Banega Lakhpati’ quiz

AIRTEL TELEPHONE and Broadband Services launched an innovative quiz programme ‘Kaun Banega Lakhpati’ for its landline users in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh yesterday. ‘Kaun Banega Lakhpati’ is a quiz over the telephone that gives customers a chance to win gold worth Rs 1 lakh at the end of the contest. The quiz contest is available on Airtel Live that can be accessed by dialling 1280 from any Airtel landline phone.

The caller will have to answer a series of questions, each having four options to choose the correct answer from and give immediate answer. Prizes worth Rs 1,000 can be won everyday by the top scorer of the day. The winners will be intimated by phone to collect their gifts from the nearest Airtel office. The call charges for the quiz are Rs six/minute.

Training for PF Staff Union

A SPECIAL training programme will be organised for the Provident Fund Employees Union members and appointees in the zonal training centre in Ujjain on February 20 and 21.

Training Centre Regional Provident Fund Commissioner S K Bhargav informed that the members of Provident Fund organisations of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Goa and Maharashtra that come under the Provident Fund Act will participate in the programme.
