MADHYA PRADESH Congress Committee chief Subhash Yadav flayed the remarks of the outgoing president of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) LK Advani wherein the latter had blamed the Congress for moral degradation in the Bharatiya Janata Party.

In a statement here on Friday, Yadav alleged that Advani was trying to hide his and party’s failure by apportioning the blame on the Congress. He said the people now know the true colour and conduct of the party with a difference as its former president Bangaru Laxman and six other MPs were caught on camera accepting bribes. He said the BJP has no character or identity and is power hungry.

He alleged that there were communal tensions when the BJP ruled the State. Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh are examples of this. Religion is the only issue with the BJP and the party is misguiding the people, he alleged.

Dubbing the Bharatiya Janata Party a communal party, Yadav said it was surprising that the Bharatiya Janata Party chief failed to list any achievements during the past one year.
