BJP workers create ruckus

A number of BJP workers gathered outside the residence of senior party leader and Delhi in- charge M Venkaiah Naidu on Saturday.

A number of BJP workers gathered outside the residence of senior party leader and Delhi in-charge M Venkaiah Naidu on Saturday.

Anticipating that they had been denied tickets, party workers, in large numbers, including women, reached Naidu’s Aurangzeb Road residence in the morning, where a meeting of 19 members’ committee constituted for selecting candidates was on. They started shouting slogans against BJP.

Fearing that the situation may go out of control, extra security personnel were called in.
