A FLYING squad caught three invigilators helping examinees use unfair means during UP Board examinations and handed them over to the police.

The incident took place at Indrasan Inter College at Balapar during the Maths I paper.

Additional director, Basic Education, Asgar Saida Khatoon led the squad. She directed the examination centre incharge to lodge an FIR against invigilators.

She handed over a written complaint to a sub-inspector deputed at the college.

Khatoon conducted a surprise check of three rooms and found large-scale copying going on.  She seized students’ answersheets and found three invigilators with answers to the Maths I paper.  The additional director, Basic, requested education officials to change the examination centre. Another flying squad caught three students using unfair means at Bhumidhar Inter College, Sikriganj and at Shobha Raji Devi Higher Secondary School, Baripur.
