Bodies found in Ratibad, Bilkhiria

According to police, a watchman spotted a human arm sticking out of the ground near Semra on the Bilqueesganj Road. He informed the landowner ME Patel, who in turn called the police.
The land was dug and the body taken out. The deceased’s body had been buried almost a week ago, police said. It is suspected that the person was killed and buried here.
The body had decomposed but police surmise that the person was around 30-35 years old. Efforts were on to identify the deceased. The Ratibad police were investigating the case.
In another incident, the body of a youth was found in a decomposed state in Bilkhiria on Tuesday evening. Police said the body was lying in a ditch on top of the hill, nearly 2 km away from the police station. The deceased was identified as Ashok alias Chhota, 24, son of Bhura Mal.
He was arrested in a case of Arms Act recently. Ashok had got bail and had returned home only recently. The body appeared to have been lying there for the past two or three days. Apparently, there was no wound but the police suspect foul play. Bilkhiria police have sent the body for post-mortem.
In a separate incident, three persons were injured in a mishap in Shahpura. The incident occurred at a shop where gas was re-filled in vehicle tanks.
Anant Shankar Kushwaha, Manish Gaur and Prabhat Jain, all residents of Panchsheel Nagar, had gone to the shop where a cylinder reportedly burst causing injuries to the three youths. The police were investigating the case.
