The Pakistani band, came into limelight after Woh Lamhe topped the music charts. Although the song’s release was mired in controversies, it helped them gain foothold in Bollywood.

Regarding the band’s influence, lyricist Mumtaz Goher says, “I am a big fan of Junoon and I respect the Sufi influence they bring in to their music. But we don’t do that. We just focus on simple melodies with a classical feel and western arrangement.”
