Bomb hoax at Mumbai station, trains delayed

An unidentified bag was found below a bench on platform number one at 5 pm and services were halted for 20 mins.

Services on Central Railway's slow corridor were affected for about 20 minutes in the evening today following a bomb hoax at Mulund railway station in northeast Mumbai, railway police said.

An unidentified bag was found below a bench on platform number one of the station at 17:20 hrs and services had to be halted for 20 minutes till the bomb squad completed its investigations, they said. The bag contained a soldering iron and some wires, they added.
